Modern Yurts
Our yurts offer a unique experience, attracting those seeking more than just a place to stay.
Modern yurts combine the timeless character of traditional nomadic architecture with the comfort and performance of contemporary construction. They can serve as year-round homes, glamping accommodation, holiday retreats, creative studios, wellness spaces, or hospitality venues. Designed for all-season use, they offer a unique connection with nature without compromising on comfort.
More than just accommodation, a modern yurt offers a unique way to experience nature without compromising on comfort. It combines the tranquillity of the outdoors with the quality, warmth, and convenience of contemporary hospitality, creating an unforgettable place to relax in every season.
Yes. Our yurts are designed for year-round use, even in the demanding climate of Central and Northern Europe. A carefully engineered structure, high-performance insulation, and efficient heating systems ensure a comfortable indoor environment throughout the year. Whether used as a permanent home, a holiday retreat, or a hospitality investment, a Modern Yurt provides comfort in every season.
Depending on your project and individual requirements, the yurt can be equipped with a variety of heating and cooling solutions, including fireplaces, air conditioning, or electric heating. This flexibility allows each yurt to be tailored to its intended use while maintaining comfort all year round.
The assembly, including the foundation and yurt, typically takes between 3 and 7 days, depending on the model, size, and level of interior fit-out. The exact schedule is always tailored to the individual project.
Our foundation solution is hot-dip galvanised steel ground screws. They allow for fast installation with minimal impact on the site and eliminate the need for traditional concrete foundations in most cases.
Every project begins with an individual site assessment to determine the foundation system best suited to the location, intended use, and structural requirements of the yurt.
Our yurts are built using high-quality structural timber, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques.
Depending on the selected Yurt, the walls are finished with either marine-grade waterproof fabric or natural timber cladding, while every yurt features a durable marine-grade waterproof roof designed to withstand demanding weather conditions.
For year-round comfort, the walls and roof are insulated with 100 mm of natural wood fibre insulation. This sustainable material provides excellent thermal performance in both winter and summer while helping to regulate indoor humidity and create a healthy indoor climate.
The platform on which the yurt is situated is also constructed from wood and filled with a 140 mm layer of wood fibre insulation. This solution provides very good floor insulation properties and a high level of user comfort throughout the year. Thanks to the use of natural and durable materials, the yurts combine high energy efficiency with aesthetics and a healthy indoor microclimate.
Our standard foundation solution is a system of hot-dip galvanised steel ground screws. They provide a stable, durable base for year-round use, require no traditional concrete foundations, and can be installed quickly with minimal impact on the surrounding landscape.
Where ground conditions or project requirements call for a different solution like mobility, we additionally offer a purpose-built mobile platform, allowing the yurt to be relocated whenever needed. Every project is assessed individually to determine the most suitable foundation system for the site and its intended use.
For those not looking for another ordinary house. For those who want to create a space with character, peace, and a unique atmosphere.
